Registration Business Run

Registration
When does the registration open?
Registration for the Business Run opens on Monday 19 February 2024.

When does the registration close?
Registration closes Monday 9 September 2024, unless we sell out earlier.

How does the number of entries per team work?
A team consists of 10 participants. In the registration module, you order one team, for which you will receive 10 bib numbers. It is also possible to participate with fewer than 10 participants, in that case you will of course receive the remaining bib numbers. We always recommend filling the teams completely.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add individual tickets to a Business registration. You will then have to buy a new team, which you can also supplement with business associates, friends or acquaintances. The results of the five fastest participants of the team will be used for the results. If you have fewer than five participants, your team will not appear in the results.

How does the volume discount work when buying several teams?
The more teams, the higher the discount. The volume discount also applies when you combine teams for different categories and distances. Please note, the discount is applied per order.

When purchasing 5 to 9 teams = 5% discount
When purchasing 10 to 14 teams = 10% discount
When purchasing 15 teams or more = 15% discount

Do I need team members' details to register?
It is mandatory, due to safety during the event, that all tickets are assigned no later than 1 day before the event. So this does not have to be done immediately upon registration. It is advisable to assign the tickets before the change deadline of 12 August 2024, that way the correct name will appear on the physical bib number (on the back). If you registered later than 12 August 2024, it is advisable to assign the tickets immediately.

You tick 'I don't know yet' to continue with the registration if you cannot yet fill in the names of the participants.

Next, you choose your team name, which you will see on the back of the starting numbers and in the results afterwards. If you purchase multiple teams, the system will automatically generate new team names, as an example: Le Champion is the team name, the following teams will then be Le Champion (2), Le Champion (3) etc.

How do I assign tickets to my team members?
Open your dashboard and either share the registration link to let a team member claim a ticket.

Or open the remaining tickets and choose: invite a participant, share a unique registration link or enter details manually yourself.

Until when can I assign tickets to my team members?
The change deadline is 12 August 2024 to give us enough time to send bib numbers to the correct address.

Assigning tickets is temporarily not possible between 12 August 2024 and 9 September 2024.

From 12 August 2024, you can still assign remaining tickets, but these changes will then no longer be included in the production and shipping of the bib numbers. You will receive these bib numbers at your invoice address. If you have a foreign invoice address, you will need to collect the bib numbers from the helpdesk at the event.

I entered an incorrect e-mail address when allocating, what now?
Open your dashboard, open the relevant ticket and select 'Edit registration' under 'Details' to change the e-mail address.
Invoice/Payment options
How can I pay my Business teams by invoice?
During registration, choose 'Place order as a company' and 'Bank transfer (invoice)' to pay by invoice.

Where can I find my invoice and how do I pay it?
You can find the invoice in your dashboard. You can transfer the amount to Mollie Payments, stating the payment Reference.

The payment to Mollie Payments has been refunded. What happens next?
Most likely, a payment was made to Mollie Payments without mentioning the payment Reference.

In that case, the payment fails and the money is automatically returned to you. You can make another payment to Mollie Payments, stating the payment Reference.

The payment Reference can be found on the invoice. Open your dashboard and open the relevant invoice for the payment details.

I have paid, but the invoice is still open in my dashboard. How is that possible?
The payment has probably been refunded because it was paid without (the correct) payment Reference. See the information above.

I forgot to pass on a reference/PO number. What should I do now?
Open your dashboard, open the invoice and edit the 'Invoice details'. You can then download the modified invoice via the download icon next to the amount.

What happens if I pay the invoice late?
If payment is not made, is late or incomplete, or if the direct debit fails, you are in default and Le Champion has the right to charge statutory interest. You will receive a reminder and be given a further 14 days to pay. If payment is not made, you will receive a reminder and Le Champion has the right to charge collection costs. If payment is not made, Le Champion may discontinue any service until the payment owed by you has been received. If necessary, Le Champion will hand the claim over to a collection agency.
Bib numbers
Where will the bib numbers be delivered?
If you choose 'Invoice address', you will receive all bib numbers, consumption vouchers and wristbands at this address. Please note! You need to fill in the invoice address at the payment step.

If you choose 'Address participant', each participant will receive the bib number, consumption voucher and wristband at the address specified by the participant after the ticket has been assigned.

If the participant does not complete their address by 12 August 2024, it will still be sent to the invoice address. Open your dashboard and look under 'Invoices' to see what you have opted for. For orders made after 12 August, the participant must complete their details immediately.

When will the bib numbers be delivered?
Bib numbers will be delivered no later than the week of the event. If you have chosen shipping to 'Invoice address', you will receive a tracking link. Didn't receive anything? Then get in touch via the contact form.
Cancellation
Can I cancel my Business team?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel your registration free of charge. If cancelled in writing up to August 12 2024, refunds of entry fees and additional orders (excluding the voluntary contribution) may be made.

By cancelling until June 17, 2024 a 10% cancelation fee will be charged on the registration fees of the cancelled teams and ordered extras.

When cancelling between June 18, 2024 and August 12, 2024 50% cancelation fee will be charged on the registration fees of the cancelled teams and ordered extra’s.

When cancelling after the August 12, 2024 there will be no restitution.

Start wave and time
Where are the start and finish?
The 10 English Mile on Sunday starts on the Prins Hendrikkade in Amsterdam.
The 5 English Mile on Saturday evening starts on the Vermiljoenweg in Zaandam.

For both events, the finish is on the Peperstraat in Zaandam.

In which Business wave do we start?
No later than the week of the event, you will receive an e-mail with the latest participant information, including the start waves and times.

Or open your dashboard and check your 'Assingned tickets' in the week of the event.

What are the start times of the Business Run?
Check the start times on the website (10 English Mile on Sunday and 5 English Mile on Saturday evening).

Can a team member start earlier or later?
10 English Mile on Sunday: A participant may start later. Earlier start is not allowed.
5 English Mile on Saturday evening: It is not allowed to start earlier or later!

Can a team member take part in another distance?
It is not allowed to participate in the 5 English Mile with a bib number for the 10 English Mile. Nor vice versa.

Where can I park?

Helpdesk
Where is the Le Champion helpdesk?
The helpdesk for the 10 English Mile on Sunday is on the city centre side of Amsterdam Central Station. After the finish, there will also be a helpdesk near the entrance at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival.
The helpdesk for the 5 English Mile on Saturday evening is near the entrance at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival.
Medal
Do participants receive a medal?
All participants will receive a unique memorable medal after the finish.

Where can I have my medal engraved?
You can have your medal engraved at the engraving stand at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival afterwards. If you ordered this in advance, it will be indicated on your bib number. If you decide on the spot to have your medal engraved, you pay € 11.
Time limit
Are there any time limits?
When participating, the following limits apply:
10 English Mile: 120 minutes
5 English Mile: 85 minutes

The finish of the 10 English Mile on Sunday closes at 5pm.
The finish of the 5 English Mile on Saturday evening closes at 10.30pm.
Refresments, medical, facilities
What refreshment is available along the way?
Check the website for more information about the Refreshment Stations and their locations (10 English Mile and 5 English Mile)

Is medical assistance available?
You will find medical posts at the refreshment stations along the way.

Are there toilets?
There are toilets at the start and finish locations and along the course.

Are there shower and changing facilities?
There are only changing facilities in Zaandam in Sporthal De Struijck, near the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival. There are no shower facilities. You can also leave (limited) bags here. Participants in the Business Run can leave their clothes in the changing tent at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival.

Where can clothes be handed in?
10 Englisch Mile on Sunday: Together with the bib number, you will receive a clothing bag specially designed for the NN Dam tot Damloop. This clothing bag should be used to drop off your clothing at the Stationsplein in Amsterdam. About 150 metres after the finish in Zaandam, on the route to the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival, you can pick up your clothing bag again.

5 English Mile on Saturday: On showing your bib number, you can hand in and collect your own clothing bag on the Heijermansstraat, between the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival and the start.

The clothing drop-off, transportation and clothing pick-up is at your own risk. This includes leaving your own bags in the locker rooms.

Is there time registration?
Time registration is provided by Mylaps Event Timing through a chip on the back of your bib number.

Where can I find the results?
The results can be found on the website.

My result is incorrect, what can I do?
Send a message to Mylaps Event Timing with your bib number and your change.

Can your personal results be removed?
Send a message to Mylaps Event Timing with your bib number and your request. Your data will then be anonymised.
